About the project
The DMACC Southridge Center involved the repurposing of a vacant JCPenney store which served as a catalyst of redevelopment for Southridge Mall. The design for this 65,000 square foot state of the art facility provided the ideal space for vocational training and a hands-on learning environment. In addition to classroom, lab and common spaces; the converted retail space also offers conference rooms and open office areas that accommodate the needs of DMACC’s ever changing curriculum which currently provides educational training in automotive, building trades and welding.
